A company that not long ago might have had a homogenous business environment can easily find itself in a diverse ecosystem: suppliers in every world region, newly segmented customer markets, multiple acquired organizations, multigenerational teams. Traditional performance management programs have become organization wallpaper. They exist in the background with little or no expectations for impact.
